After mistakenly considering her car as a stolen one, Aurora Police have issued an apology after officers draw weapons on a woman and four children.
Sickening footage has emerged of a family of five being stopped by Aurora Police, in what they've claimed a "mistake" after drawing weapons on them. The ordeal was recorded, and the footage was shared on Facebook showing the family in distress whilst handcuffed, face down on the floor.
The family included Brittney Gilliam and her two daughters aged six and twelve, as well as Brittney's nieces aged fourteen and seventeen. Aurora Police considered their actions in order to verify claims that the car she was driving wasn't stolen, the reason for the "harsh" encounter.
