Easy Goan prawns cutlets/prawns Dangar recipe.Sungata means prawns and Dangar mean cutlets in konkani are mouth watering coated with semolina fried and serverd as side dish or snacks .These cutlets are tasty and loved by everyone and one of my personal favorite.
Ingredients:-
250 gms prawns
1 onion
1 tomato
2 green chilli
1/2 tsp garlic-ginger paste
1/2 tsp jeerem-meerem powder
salt
coriander leaves
rava/semolina
1/2 egg white
oil for frying
Note:1)Grind the mixture with start and stop method or else the mixture will become too thin and it will be difficult to handle.
2)if the mixture becomes too thin while grinding add bread slices dipped in water to hold the shape and follow the same process as shown in video.

Procedure:
1)take washed and clean prawns
2)cut into pieces ,add salt and keep aside for 10 mins
3)Heat pan,add marinated prawns
4)Spread and cook for 2-3 mins or untill they turn to slight pinkish colour.
5)once cooked ,transfer to a plate/bowl and keep a aside
6)In the same pan, add oil
7)Add chopped onion and saute till translucent
8)Add garlic-ginger paste and green chilli and saute
9)Add chopped tomato and cook till tomato becomes soft
10)Add salt and jeerem- meerem powder and cook till raw smell from masala
goes off
11)Add the cooked prawns and cook for 1 min
12)Garnish with coriander leaves and turn off flame and allow to cool
13)once cool,transfer mixture to blender and grind to fine paste
14)transfer the mixture to a bowl and add 1/2 egg white
15)In a plate take semolina/rava
16 pinch a portion of mixture and shape into cutlet
17)coat the cutlet with semolina
18)heat pan ,add oil
19)place cutlets and fry till golden brown on both sides
20 )remove from pan and serve hot
