One of the biggest problems with the current blockchain or crypto ecosystem is its lack of interoperability.
Bridges arose as a solution; however, in his latest blog, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, states that people should try to minimize bridges and use atomic swaps instead.
