Here is a brief video of how I transformed my KKrate into a live well. I have a Jackson Kraken which was made to fit an Atwood Tsunami pump in the scupper behind the seat. Most kayaks wont have scuppers big enough for that but you should be able to modify the end with some rubber tubing to allow a set up similar to this.
