I have always made (encouraged) Ranger School students to take extra insoles with them during the winter months. Wet boots and wet feet suck!! But wet and cold is a HUGE problem. During 2016, I started making the Ranger School crew take extra insoles during the warm weather months. And this saved so many peoples feet, prevented jungle rot and blisters, and also helped student's boots dry out super quick!
