Welcome to the 5th Annual Life Day Celebration held at Disneyland’s Galaxy's Edge on 11/17/2024. This marks the 46th anniversary since The Star Wars Holiday Special was aired on CBS in 1978.

The fandom community gathered together and created their own celebration using touchstones from the TV Special. We brought special glowing orbs, wore red in some form, and celebrated with Chewbacca in a procession through the streets of Batuu to the Millennium Falcon. We also sang holiday classics with a Star Wars spin. We rounded out the evening at the Batuu Wishing Tree to pay respect to those who couldn't be with us on this special day.
