The need for common actions and viable instruments pro youth employment in Western Balkans lead Swisscontact to establish the foundations of the Balkans@Work network. This inter-Balkan platform brings together and promotes synergy between international agencies, civil society organizations, donors, policymakers and private companies engaged in the labour market integration of young people in this region.
This initiative of Swisscontact’s Regional Eastern Europe Office was launched in Tirana in a dynamic event with “Coaching for Employment” approach at the focus. Field visits to the Ford Company, the Public Employment Office of Durres and Non-Profit ARSIS Organisation illustrated how Swisscontact and its partners made possible the training and employment of “Coaching for Employment” participants.
