It's been pretty windy/ wet / wild weather at Farnborough for the last few days. Here's a short film catching a variety of arriving and departing traffic midweek afternoon. Starting with:
00.08 Gulfstream G600 SP-TOP. Polish Registered and with the flight not showing on FR 24, this a/c was departing to Van Nuys USA. Hear the cheery "farewell" from the crew on handoff from the Tower!
2:14 With winds gusting from 220 degrees to 290 degrees and up to 33 knots, 2 year old Vista Jet Bombardier Global 7500 9H-VIT makes a perfect landing arriving as VJT 768 from Cairo;- with a close up of the thrust reversers and lift spoilers deploying on the landing rollout.
03:51 Nice to see a Falcon 8X. Here is G-KOLO of Centreline, arriving as Callsign Clifton 748 from Le Bourget - again making it look effortless landing in the strong gusting wind.
05:47 Netjets Europe Falcon 2000X CS-DLJ departing for Roskilde - callsign Fraction 812 Romeo. Look at that rocket like climb out!
07:29 Platoon Aviation Pilatus PC24 D-CPTN arrives from Chambery.
08:27 G-KOLO Falcon 8X now seen departing for Guernsey with what you'd definitely call a short takeoff run!
09:40 Finally, again not showing on FR24; privately owned Gulfstream G550 N223A lines up and departs for Lexington.
Enjoy this compilation! All the best, Steve
