Singapore is stepping up its fight against dengue. The Wolbachia mosquito project will be expanded to another 1,400 public housing blocks from next month. It will now cover more than 300,000 homes, almost twice the number now. The country is seeing a surge in dengue cases this year, with more than 15,000 cases reported so far. That is close to three times the number for the whole of 2021.
