UPDATE: As of 1:45pm, the cordon/evacuation has been lifted.
Gardaí were alerted to a suspicious package at the Social Democrats headquarters this morning in Dublin City.
Gardaí have since stated - ‘Following enquiries, the alert was not found to be credible.’
According to the Social Democrats - ‘The package was removed by the Explosive Ordinance Disposal team.’
