I thought I'd try something different and whilst I might not be the first this time, I'm only a couple of weeks behind and for good reason..

What's it like? I suppose that depends on what you expect but doesn't it always?
If you want a beautiful model that you can further embellish, be able to drive but mostly have sit on a shelf, then this is definitely for you.
If you want a no-nonsense tracked basher, then you'd better look elsewhere.
it's a bit of a wimp. The drivetrain just isn't up to much at all and if you try to push it on anything remotely grippy then you'll be left very disappointed as it will either fail to move or it'll throw off a track.

The balance of it it is all wrong, as well. It's far too light and handles as such, easily rolling and getting thrown by really light obstacles that it should just trample.

Putting the scale extras on it was a nice experience apart from the wheel covers but I suppose I'd rather just buy and build a model.

I'm left wondering who WPL are aiming this at, RC fans or military model fans and I guess it must just be a niche in between.

You might love it. I thought I did.. until I drove it. It's just not for me.
