Today with our species profile we take a deeper look into a relatively new species to the trade having only been discovered in 2004 in Western region of Myanmar formerly Burma.
This wonderful species is Garra flavatra or known in the trade as the Panda Garra. A rheophilic, oxygen loving cooler water species that makes a great addition to ones boisterous community aquarium. This species is colourful, easy to care for, readily accepts most aquarium fare, is not really aggressive with anyone and is constantly moving around the aquarium. A welcome addition to most aquariums.
