For 3 channel:
same as above except loop is on but effects off. Ch3 modern mode
Has that gnarly aggressive but smoother sound. you can push the gain to max. it is not also boomy vs the newer rectifier. has that peculiar midrange similar to my IIC++.
The newer one has that modern sound, a bit scooped and with presence. Similar to my observation when i compared the JP-2C to my IIC++. my suspicion is it might be something to do with the older transformers and just that the tubes are different (newer ones have modern tubes.
i must say the rev c has a lot more depth, it doesnt get ice picky even if you max the gain or push the treble or presence a bit higher. it just blooms! same experience with the IC++.
