Breadsticks are awesome, who doesn’t love one, or ten with their meals. Most people don’t know how easy it is to make them from scratch at home. In this cooking video we'll show you how to make breadsticks using a method I borrowed from Binging with Babish, with a simple and delicious marinara dipping sauce.

How to make Breadsticks at home:
- In a large bowl add 1/4 cup of warm water
- Also add 1 tsp of active dry yeast
- Followed by 2 tsp of sugar
- Gently mix everything together
- Now add add 1 cup of warm water
- Followed by an 1/8 cup of olive oil
- And 2 1/2 cups of flour
- Now mix everything thoroughly
- On your countertop lined with flour knead your dough
- Now roll out your dough ball with a rolling pin
- Now line a baking pan with olive oil
- Lay your rolled out dough into the pan
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour

How to make Marinara sauce at home:
- In a pot on the stovetop add 1 can of tomato sauce
- Also add 1 tbsp of sugar
- And 1 tsp salt
- Now add 2 tbsp of dry oregano
- And 1 tbsp of dry Italian seasoning
- Mix everything together a bring to a simmer

How to make Garlic Parmesan bread topping:
- In a small bowl add 1/4 cup of dry Parmesan
- Also add 1 tsp of dry oregano
- Followed by 1 tsp of dry Italian seasoning
- You can now add 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- Followed by 1/2 tsp of onion powder
- Then finally 1/2 tsp of salt
- And 1/2 tsp of black pepper
- Mix everything together

Finishing the homemade Breadsticks:
- Brush some butter on top of your dough
- Bake in the oven at 475F for 10 minutes
- Now brush with more butter
- And sprinkle on your garlic parmesan topping
- And bake in the oven at 475F for 5 minutes
- Your breadsticks and marinara dipping sauce are ready to be served
