WINTER CITY AT EXPO – OVERVIEW

From 15th December 2023 to 7th January 2024, Expo City Dubai is hosting a one-of-a-kind winter celebration. This year’s theme is sustainability, so expect various activities to save the North Pole and become eco-heroes. There will be seasonal sparkle, including workshops, a toy factory and much more! Expo City has transformed into a magical winter wonderland to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. There are fun games, Santa’s house, decorated pine trees and a host of festivities to keep visitors entertained. Interested in learning more about Winter City at Expo City? Get ready for the happiest time of the year in one of the most spectacular cities in the world!

WINTER CITY AT EXPO CITY FESTIVITIES

Winter City at Expo City Dubai is the most-anticipated winter event to take the City of Gold by storm. You don’t want to miss out on the 24 days of festivities!

Here’s a brief look at all the activities you can participate in.

SANTA’S HOUSE

Want to see where Santa lives and makes all those magical toys for you? Nestled in the heart of Winter City, you’ll find a mockup of Santa’s house. Children will discover how Santa cleverly reuses, reduces and recycles. With repurposed decorations and energy-efficient lighting, Santa’s house will show the true magic of sustainability. This experience will serve as a learning opportunity for children.

FROSTY’S FARMHOUSE

Participate in making special reindeer food. This year, Santa’s elves will host tons of workshops to teach kids the art of composting and show them the secrets of farm-to-table living. Little ones will get a chance to learn how to use vegetables to create artwork and unleash their creativity.

SANTA’S TOY FACTORY

Santa’s Toy Factory will combine fun and learning with engaging workshops. Kids will learn to create their sustainable STEM-based toys using recycled materials.

LETTERS TO SANTA

What’s Christmas without writing a letter to Santa? Seek guidance from the elves; they’ll help you write heartfelt letters using eco-friendly markers, recycled papers and earth-conscious décor.

MRS CLAUS’ BAKERY

Gather at Mrs Claus’ Bakery to decorate Christmas-shaped cookies in the shapes of penguins, polar bears and ice caps. Let your imagination run wild and add tons of sprinkles and colourful frosting.

CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT

After its success last year, Carols by Candlelight is back again this year at Winter City. It features festive performances and carol singing. Watch for Mr and Mrs Claus, who might make a surprise visit.
