Unreal 5.3 preview has a stack of great features that are amazing for motion design, but top of the list for me to check out were the VDBs - now native in engine and integrated with Lumen! In this video I share the gotchas and secrets I've come across so far...
EDIT: it's working with pathtracer! This is very untested and I'm still working out how to get good results from it, but this big first step is thanks to @dysler - enable this cvar: r.PathTracing.HeterogeneousVolumes 1
