He also faces questions about Canada’s use of the COVAX vaccine sharing program and the lack of disclosure about Canadian contracts with vaccine manufacturers. Trudeau comments as well on the arrest of Mamadi III Fara Camara, a Black man from Montreal who was incarcerated for 6 days before being released after a video exonerated him from the assault on a police officer. Trudeau says he supports Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante’s call for an independent investigation into Camara's arrest and detention.
