This is the video of series where my dad and I start a process of restoring my dad's second computer, the Acorn Archimedes 310. He bought it in 1989 as sucessor to the BBC micro Model B. It was our first computer with a Harddrive. I remember that as a kid I had to be carefull not to shake / shock the desk as this could be bad for the harddrive. This computer was one of my first gaming memories, I played mainly Lemmings, Pacmania, Terramex, Metrocross and Zelanites on it.
Now, let's see if we can bring this computer back to life. In 2012 it was taken apart as my dad was fiddling with it at the time but never put together again since then as the mouse wasn't working anymore. Let's dive into this rocky journey of computer restoration!
