Since it was well over 100 degrees in the Phoenix area, we thought a visit to the higher elevations near the Mogollon Rim would provide some relief. While it wasn’t as cool as we had expected, it was still a great get-away with a night at a cute little boutique hotel, a visit to a local lavender farm, some good eats and then taking in the beauty of Tonto Natural Bridge State Park.
