Twinkle Nora Rock Me but again, anyone? Yes, it was posted in 2019, but we don't count last year as a year. I started this little project by screen grabbing each frame (yes) from the Laptop Saving Mode video (thank you Kenny Lauderdale) and pasted them as frames into the animation time line in Clip Studio Paint. These would be my key poses, and I could work from there.
Right?
lol no
Scaling up the key frames to fit my work area revealed a plethora of problems, and it wasn't just the original frame rate of Powerpoint v1.0. Some included:
- ugly, ugly key drawings that look like they were drawn with a hot, blunt pin on a square of Vaseline. If you're missing frames at least make the existing ones look GOOD ;;
- the feet don't correspond or stick to the ground with weight, so a load of slip-sliding around that I had to manually edit while drawing
- the 'dance' not really syncing up to the background music. like. Having rhythm and animation 'beats' for a musical moment
I drew this while containing the original spirit of the anime; *without* the aim to entertain people with good eyecandy. Three seconds of this shite is enough and my wrist is screaming.
