The Georgia state special grand jury investigating former president Donald Trump's state election crimes - crimes that can plainly be seen in his corrupt demand of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to "find" him 11,780 votes - has completed its work and issued its report. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will now take that report and present it to the regularly impaneled grand jury that is authorized to issue indictments.
Assuming the special grand jury recommended that Trump (and possibly one or more of his criminal associates) be indictment, DA Willis undoubtedly will ask the regular grand jury to vote on indictments.
Given these developments, it seems that the state of Georgia may end up being the first jurisdiction to indict a former president of the United States for his crimes.
