I've been coming here since 2017 when I found this location in a Waterfalls of Minnesota book. But this is my first visit since January of 2020.
There is so much more to do in the area where we did our video including Lilac Walk, Peonies, Daylilies & Lilies, Home Demo Gardens, and Rock Garden. But as I mentioned in the video we will be back and hopefully next time we'll be able to explore the entire place in one video but that will be a very long video.
The arboretum is a 42-minute (34.4 miles) from downtown Saint Paul and 31 minutes (24.4 miles) from downtown Minneapolis.
I can promise you that the arboretum will take up your entire day and they also have a cafe to eat at but if you are still looking for more in the area or a place to eat for dinner here are some locations and restaurants around the area.
Lake Minnetonka Regional Park (9min), Lowry Nature Center (12min), Purgatory Creek Park (14min), Riley Creek Conservation Area (15min), and Noerenberg Mem Gardens (21min).
Redstone American Grill, Woody's Grille, Kona Grill, Applebee's Grill, Culver's, El Pueblo, Wildfire, Rusty Taco, Pizza Luce, and Qdoba Mexican Eats.
