Today’s featured classic is our 1922 Ford Model T Speedster, which joined the Truly Nolen family on May 1, 2016.
The original sticker price was $850, but later sold for as little as $260 because Ford passed along the savings from their production innovations.More than 15,000,000 Model T’s were built and sold, and the vehicle is considered to have been the most influential car of the 20th century because of its role in the overall development of the auto industry.With a 10 gallon tank and a top speed of 45 miles per hour, the Speedster averages about 20 miles to the gallon on the open road.
The Speedster is one example of a Model T modification, and they have been converted into everything from a tractor to an ice cream truck!
