A potent cold front passed through West Michigan this morning and brought strong and damaging wind gusts with it. Winds will not be as powerful this afternoon, but wind gusts up to 45-55 mph will still be possible until the early evening. Rain showers will begin to transition to light snow as temperatures fall into the 30s. Snow will be tough to measure, although we only expect an inch or less. This morning’s wind gusts led to tree damage and power outages, so be careful while driving today.
