The world's longest-running Indian classical music concert Saptak commences its 38th edition on January 1, 2018, until January 13, 2018, at LD Arts College, Ahmedabad. Celebrated Hindustani classical music artists from all across the globe are invited here to showcase their aesthetics in front of hundreds of people. Prodigy violinist Apoorva Krishna began her musical journey at the tender age of six in the USA, and her parents decided to shift to Bangalore to give their child a much more profound musical background. She learnt her aesthetics initially in the USA from Guru Anuradha Sridhar and later from her mother, Lalgudi Srimathi Brahmanandam. Apoorva is currently working on an album of her composed thillanas and keeps engaging herself in various concerts and live performances for which she has been rewarded multiple accolades including one from All India Radio. She here shares about her journey and how close is she with music and Saptak.
