The Stackable Data Platform is a curated collection of projects from the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) which form a complete data platform, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization. This platform is provided as a collection of Kubernetes operators, to make installation and lifecycle management easier on modern cloud native infrastructure.
This year, the Stackable team planned to add support for Ampere and other Arm64 CPUs for their platform. We spoke with Maximilian Wittich and Jim Halfpenny of Stackable to hear about their experiences building and testing their product on multiple architectures, and to hear about their experiences working with Ampere.
