Devotees across the country bid adieu to Maa Durga on Vijaya Dashami. The Bandhav Samiti in Jhansi immersed Durga idols in its own premises. The tank was specially made as an initiative towards environment conservation. In Chennai, devotees immerse idols in the sea near Palavakkam on the final day of the Durga Puja festival. Devotees also celebrate one last time before the immersion of Durga idols.
