Was feeling creative and decided to do some time-lapse with my phone, here I'll show you how you can set up a very cheap and effective mount that you can leave snapping away to capture the world in its time-independent goodness.

items that are handy:
Mic Stand (or some other kind of steady tripod)
Plastic Laundray Hanger (can be found at most 2$ shops)
Rubber Bands (I recommend heavier ones)
Free time-lapse app for android (I used the free app Timelapse! form the Google store)
A chair (for waiting)
Another device with entertaining media or practical apps (i watched Fringe and Portlandia :D)
PATIENCE!
