Mark lives full time in his 1988 westfalia, Having a trade from a young age has allowed Mark to fully embrace what vanlife has to offer, having lived in the van for under a year, Mark has made the most of his job and this new van dwelling lifestyle by traveling and living in seattle, and now on galiano Island. Mark is also enrolled in UVIC in Victoria so travels back and forth into the city. The Westfalia was the perfect fit for Mark because of the simplicity of it, as well as in his eyes it was a more sound investment then getting something that the value will quickly diminish. The classic and nostalgic look of the westfalia is what helped make Marks mind up on what van to buy, and he hopes those reasons will keep its value up. In this video Mark talks a bit about his philosophy of life, his advice for someone thinking about getting into Van life, and he gives us a tour of his van.
