The Links at Terranea is a unique 9-hole, Par 3, Oceanfront course located in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. This course was designed by Todd Eckenrode of Origins Golf Design.

The design of this course is amazing. Terranea’s Fairways are routed through natural surroundings integrating elevation changes, green contours, strategic bunkering and unobstructed sight-lines. With tee placements ranging from 104 to 173 yards, the course offers a short- and mid-range layout for beginner and experienced golfers.

The villas and houses in the hills really add a luxury vibe to the course. It’s very picturesque and the epitome of Southern California.

Beginner Golfer Tip: When playing a course by the ocean you have to account for the wind. This course was very windy!

This is a walking only course so be prepared to get your steps in.

Last but not least are the pacific ocean views. This is by far the most scenic golf course I have ever played. The views of the ocean made it hard to concentrate. It was just that beautiful.

When it comes to equipment, they have walking cart rentals and premium TaylorMade golf club rentals. This course is luxury all the way.

What I really liked about this facility was that it had a great short game practice area. They have 2 chipping areas and a large practice putting green located beside the pro shop.

One thing to note is that they don’t have a traditional driving range BUT they do have 3 simulator bays to practice your full swing.
