Most of us have a high view of our combat arms soldiers, and we should. They do a job that most people would never dare to. But gratitude and respect don’t have to equate to idolizing.

As Christian men, we have an even greater tendency to put combat soldiers on a pedestal. But that is due to the lack of real men in Christian circles.

Here we break down the “why not” of idolizing American combat troops. And I talk a little about what Christians should know before jumping into a combat arms job.
