Throughout the Second World War, there were many high profile executions which were carried out. German Generals were condemned and were executed inside of Soviet towns and cities, but one Stalin that the Germans and Hitler would capture was Stalin's son, Yakov Dzhugashvili. Stalin hated the fact his son had been imprisoned by the Germans, and the Nazis tried to use his capture as a propaganda boost. But Yakov Dzhugashvili would never make it out of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.

He was a man who would fight other prisoners inside of the camp, and he would become frustrated as his father practically sentenced him to death. Stalin turned down a number of prisoner swaps to punish Yakov Dzhugashvili, but by doing this Stalin was practically signing his own sons death warrant.
