Non Directional Beacon NDB navigation is simple: after tuning the radio of the Automatic Direction Finder ADF to the NDB frequency the needle always points to the beacon. We can fly the correct bearing to the NDB by transferring the needle position to the Heading Indicator HI. NDB frequencies can be found on aeronautical maps.
