Chinese sturgeons are listed as an extremely endangered species of China's mighty Yangtze River. However, efforts are being made to restore their numbers. Under the guidance of the Chinese Sturgeon Research Institute, nearly 100,000 Chinese sturgeon were released into the Yangtze River on Saturday. Another 100,000 will be released in the next two days.
