We recently stayed at the resort that was at the top of my bucket list, Disney’s Beach Club. Every time we would go to WDW in the past I would drag my family over to the Boardwalk area to eat at one of the many resort restaurants and stare at Stormalong Bay pool from the outside of the fence.
Where most Disney resorts have a splash pad area, this pool has a beach area for the kids to play, a lazy river (that gets quite deep in spots) The Flying Jib water slide that goes across the sidewalk, a couple hot tubs and did I mention it’s a sand bottom pool? This pool area covers 3 acres. It’s absolutely insane and I’m pretty sure if we come back we will have more rest days to enjoy the resort and less park days.
Besides the amazing pool, Beach Club is home to my favorite Character Breakfast at Cape May and the famous Kitchen Sink dessert is available at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop. I think we put a good dent in it 🍨
This resort is also WALKING distance to Epcot and you can take the Skyliner or a Boat to Hollywood Studios.
And PS, according to my sand hating husband and son, it’s the good sand, that’s bigger than regular sand… whatever that means 😂
