I was sent the Comaogo t002 (retails:$129.99 plus a 30$ off coupon offering)for review and comparison to another budget projector. So in this video, the cables are the same, distance from screen, and video feed.
You can see the Yaber v5 (retails: $189.99 plus $60$ off coupon)9000 lumen is still brighter and clearer then the advertised 9500 lumen Comaogo before and after their update.
I have noticed some of these budget projectors seem to rate their lumen value directly near the projector lens rather then what is reflected back off the screen and alot of their advertising pictures in their ads are hugely misleading.
I wont say one way or the other who is the better deal, ill let the video do what it was meant to do.
Price difference: roughly 30$.
Whats in the box difference: the Yaber included a carrying case that velcros the projector down, has space for cables and a handle on the case.(This basically makes up the 30$ price difference between the 2 as the case is well made and very handy if you do travel with it)
The Yaber came with a tripod that is very cheaply done, sits fairly low and the tightening knob doesnt do a very good job holding the ball joint in place so the projector is easy to come off alignment.
Both projectors included same cables, HDMI, AV, power and a remote.
Neither supplied batteries.
Both came with a plastic clear lens cap, both make your focus setting get changed putting the cap on and off.
If there is enough interest in this comparison, i will use an app on the phone to see what it measures for lumens out of each projector. It uses the phones camera to measure so its not an exact number but would give ballpark idea.
I would say the v2 version of the Comaogo did make the focus quite a bit better, even brightened up the projection some. But not enough to beat the 9000 lumen yaber.
