All back together, car has a few other unrelated upgrades I did at the same time. Super happy with how it turned out. Absolutely love the gear spacing, and love even more the shift action. Super precise and a shorter throw than the original 02J, thanks to using the 02S/0A4 case back half so I could keep the 02S shift tower/selector shaft and the matching shift rail/fork assembly.

This setup is everything I hoped it would be.
