This is the recording of the webinar How to Protect Your Business from Cyber Threats hosted by Women's Enterprise Centre in May 2021. To view free upcoming sessions, visit wec.ca/WECafe
As the business world relies more and more on technology, strengthening cybersecurity becomes increasingly important. Cyber attacks can impact businesses of any size and leave them vulnerable to financial losses and reputational damage.
CyberSecure Canada helps small and medium organizations protect themselves from cyber threats by introducing them to 13 baseline cybersecurity controls designed to be straightforward to implement yet effective.
The voluntary cybersecurity certification program is a collaboration by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) and the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security and the Standards Council of Canada. Organizations that implement the 13 controls can receive a government-backed certification that shows their customers, clients, investors and partners their valuable data is protected.
Women’s Enterprise Centre hosted Lisa Monozlai, Economic Advisor at ISED, to show you how you can improve your business resiliency and competitive advantage by becoming CyberSecure certified. In this webinar, Lisa shared information on:
