This video looks at a Deed of Renunciation and when it arises. If you are taking on a commercial lease you may be asked by the landlord to renounce your right to get a new lease at the end of the term of the lease you are taking on.
If this happens you are being asked to sign a Deed of Renunciation giving up your right under the Landlord and Tenant Act to get a new lease. You need to take legal advice about this as you may spend a lot of money and time building your business in a premises and then get turfed out when your short term lease ends.
