Hundreds of people have lined the streets of Liverpool today to say goodbye to Alfie Evans. A black funeral hearse carrying his tiny white coffin, adorned with a blue heart and toy soldiers - a nod to Alfie's Army, made its way past Goodison Park after the private funeral service earlier this morning. Alfie's father Tom Evans has said he always dreamed of taking his son to Goodison to watch his beloved Toffees play, as Tom was seen crying as the hearse rolled by the stadium. Tearful mourners, some clutching yellow flowers and wearing Alfie's Army t-shirts, lined the streets, waiting to bid a final farewell to the 'boy who touched hearts around the world'.
