Many people misunderstand evolution and think it claims that humans evolved directly from modern Apes and Chimpanzees that we see today. In fact, we are cousins, not direct descendants of modern apes. It's a tree of life as Dawkins explains.

"Only A Theory" by Kenneth R. Miller - [ Ссылка ]
Miller's book specifically debunks "creationist" fallacies that try to cast doubt on evolution and uses them to explain specific evidence.
While Jerry Coyne's book is more biological, detailed but still accessible and very well written.
