Assam & Mizoram continue to engage in blame-game days after deadly border violence. Railway tracks connecting Assam & Mizoram were tampered with on Wednesday. Mizoram government accused Assam of imposing an economic blockade. Mizoram said miscreants in Assam removed railway tracks and blocked the Silchar-Aizawl stretch of the National Highway 306. Mizoram home secretary Lalbiaksangi said the miscreants have blocked the only railway line connecting Bairabi railway station in the state. The Mizoram government is seeking intervention of the Centre to settle the simmering border dispute with Assam.
