I wasn't going to post this one. It's a new song, new this morning, EARLY this morning, I don't get to choose when I write them it seems ... rude ! So I'll probably go home and have an afternoon kip now. But, anyway, I wasn't going to post it as the execution of the song itself really leaves rather a lot to be desired, however, for those of you who enjoy my random chats before and after the song, it's possibly moderately amusing :-) It's another one of those conversation songs where you just have to guess which person is speaking next as I only actually have one voice.
'I Told You, I'm Leaving Now' by Tracey Cracknell
...whisper...i told you, i'm leaving now, i told you, i'm leaving now ....
I thought that you were leaving
I thought you'd packed your stuff
You had started me grieving
Well I tell you, it's not good enough
You said that you were leaving
I see that you're still here
Seems to me that you're deceiving
With every word that goes in my ear
Well, I tried to leave before this
And you said I couldn't go
Well, I thought that you'd ignore this
'Coz, really, I can't stop you, you know
Tell me, don't leave me guessing
Tell me if you plan to stay
Tell me, just stop your messing
And if you can't make up your mind, just go away
