The Brock high school football team won it's first ever State Championship Thursday, 43-33, over three-time defending champion Cameron Yoe. Cameron running back Traion Smith, the Class 3A Player of the Year, injured his right knee on a late second quarter run. He would be carted off the field and taken to the hospital. Before the injury Smith had accounted for two touchdowns.
Cameron Yoe finishes the season 14-2. The Yoemen were looking to become just the fifth team in Texas high school history to win four consecutive State Championships.
