❌❌Stop making these 3 mistakes if you want to lose fat❌❌
These are 3 pretty common mistakes and how to fix them!
1️⃣Not eating enough fiber: Fiber slows digestion down which will help you feel fuller. Also, most foods that are high in fiber tend to be higher in volume and lower in calories, so you can bulk up your meals with plenty of non-starchy veggies, which will also help you feel fuller and better manage hunger during your dieting phase. Other essential benefits of fiber include better and more regular bowel movements and increased consumption of micronutrients. Just be careful not to overdo it. Fiber is personalized to the individual but somewhere between 10-15grs per every 1k calories is a good ballpark and you can adjust from there.
2️⃣Eating back the calories you burned during exercises: Okey girl, hear me out. I know you think you can out-train a bad diet but… you can’t… First, your beloved Apple Watch, Oura ring, Fit Bit, or any other fitness tracker is HUGELY miscalculating the calories you burn during exercise. Research done by Stanford University showed that these trackers were off by an average of 27 to 93%!! And second, the calories you burn during exercises have already been factored into your calorie requirements! If you eat them back you are taking yourself out of the deficit you calculated.
3️⃣Giving up too soon and not being patient: This shit takes time and consistency. One salad won’t make you skinny, so please stop thinking it will. You need time and consistency. If you have been dieting for a week or two, you might not see much change on the scale. Keep at it and practice your patience flex!! Just focus on ticking all the boxes. If you do, progress will come.
