We spend a third of our life at work. Why is it so hard to talk about mental wellbeing, while we are happy to discuss physical wellbeing. For the million individuals in the US who are diagnosed with anxiety and 6 million who are diagnosed with panic this 'avoidance' creates an environment where they feel isolated. COVID ignited broader workplace stress as many individuals became afraid, lonely and disconnected. As someone who sees anxiety and panic as co-pilots in his life, Ralph has created a model to help managers and leaders acknowledge mental wellbeing, engage in compassionate accountability and transparency. The time to ACT is now. Ralph Kellogg is the Vice President for People Training at Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska. Ralph has an extensive background in human resources, training, employee relations, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
