I’m sharing a simple explanation below so everyone can easily understand what LoRA is.

Imagine you have a skilled artist who is great at painting landscapes but now needs to learn to paint portraits. Instead of sending them back to art school for a full course, you give them a short, specialised class that focuses just on the key skills needed to switch from landscapes to portraits. This saves time and lets them start painting beautiful portraits quickly.

LoRA works similarly with AI models. It takes a computer program that’s already good at one task and teaches it a new task without starting from scratch. It does this by making small, targeted changes, which saves a lot of time and computing power. This technique helps the AI adapt quickly and efficiently, ready to take on new challenges without the need for a complete overhaul.
