Episode 45 | Part 2: Minimally Invasive Stabilisation in Spinal Fractures
Synopsis:
Conventional open surgery for spinal fracture stabilisation could be associated with various complications including massive bleeding, infection and organ injuries. The use of posterior minimally invasive spinal stabilisation (MISt) utilising percutaneous pedicle screws had been introduced in the treatment of spinal fractures. In this presentation, we will explore the usage of MISt in spinal fractures, including its advantages, surgical techniques and potential complications.
