In June 2023, the Bon-Accord Silver Band held a gala concert in the Tivoli theatre, Aberdeen. Featuring both the 'Silver' and 'B' Bands, the concert looked back on 60 years of music making across the North East of Scotland and beyond.

The opening march 'Centaur', was selected as a throw back to a television performance on 'Fanfare'. Featuring the original tv broadcast, made available by the BBC, the band were thrilled to see Stewart Watson MBE back on the big screen conducting the band.
