Visit [ Ссылка ] soon for photos of some of the lots that especially stuck out to us as we visited the Thursday early preview of the upcoming collector car auction.
RM Sotheby’s is the official auction company of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, and is celebrating it’s 23 year of offering some of the best-of-category examples across diverse segments of the collector car auction.
Some of the notable vehicles featured in this video:
1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS by Scaglietti
Amelia Island 2021 | Lot 130
Estimated to fetch between $350-400k USD
This three owner car is finished in striking red and is truly a stunning example. The Dino has really come into it’s own in the past few years.
1968 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 by Scaglietti
Amelia Island 2021 | Lot 136
Estimated to fetch between $2.5-2.8mm USD
The name speaks for itself, what’s better than a quad-cam Ferrari? This particular car has spent 50 years under the same owner and it’s finally looking for a new home. The engine and gearbox are numbers matching and it’s recently received a 2 year mechanical restoration. One of 330, this is truly a special machine.
1929 Duesenberg Model J ‘Disappearing Top’ Torpedo by Murphy
Amelia Island 2021 | Lot 156
Estimated to fetch between $3.5-4.0mm USD
This vehicle was the only Duesenberg ever to be delivered with it’s special torpedo style tail. The polished aluminum is really something to behold in person and the video doesn’t do it justice!
